Meet Ellé
Born in Ottawa and raised in Montréal, Ellé Marks brings a dual heritage of Scottish precision and Nigerian warmth to her work — a balance of structure and soul that defines every piece she designs.
At sixteen, she was recruited by designer Kevin Allwood to open and manage his boutique in Montréal’s luxury district, OGLIVY Fashion House where she learned the architecture of clothing and the quiet power of presentation.
After moving to Toronto, Ellé spent a decade in the corporate world, working alongside CEOs and presidents — studying leadership, presence, and the way clothing shapes confidence. Frustrated by the lack of professional wear that fit both the female form and the demands of leadership, she began to design her own pieces.
In 2012, she founded Elle Made Well, a Toronto-based capsule workwear house dedicated to refinement, responsibility, and the women who lead.
